Mrs Caldicot

Hope some of you enjoyed the film Mrs Caldicot’s Cabbage War which was on Channel 5 on Saturday afternoon.

(The film is now listed on the awful Wikipedia site as being based on a book by ‘Vernon Coleman a conspiracy theorist’ – which shows how hard they work at demonising me.)

The conspirators who control Wikipedia and Google have now also removed from sight details of the other three books about Mrs Caldicot. (There was a Wikipedia page devoted to the Mrs Caldicot novels but the page was removed early in 2020.)

The novels about Mrs Caldiciot are:

Mrs Caldicot’s Cabbage War (on which the film of the same name is based)

Mrs Caldicot’s Knickerbocker Glory (Mrs Caldicot buys her own nursing home)

Mrs Caldicot’s Oyster Parade (Mrs Caldicot takes the gang to Paris where they lose their money and have great fun)

Mrs Caldicot’s Turkish Delight (Having lost her nursing home Mrs Caldicot acquires a pier with a theatre and somewhere to live by the sea!)

All four books about Mrs Caldicot are available as paperback books and eBooks.

There is also a specially written play Mrs Caldicot’s Cabbage War which is available for amateur dramatic groups to perform.
